Left after work Tuesday morning around 0630. Headed south to the spur. Found a nice line around 8 miles south of the spur, and stayed on it most of the day. Caught a few nice dolphin, and lost a stud dolphin. Seas began to grow, so we started heading north around 1430. Trolled through some scattered grass for around 30minutes when the way back Makaira bullwinkle got blasted. The fish put on a hell pof a show, and jumped herself out early. Marlana had the marlin to the boat in 38 minutes. The fish measured over 100". Nice fish!
Got beat up for 65 nm coming in, but it didnt seem to matter. We had good conversation, and a memory that won't soon be forgotten. Great fishing with my old buddy Wade again. That guy brings luck to any boat.
